Soy 10 has been repaved from beach to Page 10, and they are finishing the last 100 yards right now. I would expect all to be done within a week or two.
There is no more heavy construction anyplace on soy 10.
BTW, there are 3 new hotels at the beach end. See Me, See Me Too, and Stay Place (or something).
It is passable to 2nd road. Worst case is you have to cut through the beer bar complex at the corner on 2nd and soy 10.

That is good news as I spend my first couple of days on Soi 10. When I was there in December, had to move after the first day because you couldn't walk to Second Road or Beach Road with out climbing over all the construction mess.
The night (1:30 AM) I arrived the taxi couldn't get down to the hotel and had to go get the bell boy to help pack the luggage in.

Stayed at the Page 10, the other end of the soi, but can confirm as far as the road is concerned it's complete and resurfaced.
Oscar,
Thanks for the update and good to know as I will spend a few nights on Soi 10 before moving over to the Sandy Spring. Don't want to to through what I did last trip by not being able to arrive or leave the hotel by taxi. Not even a motorbike could get in there. You could only walk and that was on a very narrow (1/2 meter wide) path and some on 8 inch wide boards over the holes (pits) in the soi.

Especially with the amount of luggage you carry Leo. Two or three suitcases this time?

Can any BM give us an update on Soi 10 and construction adjacent to the Sea Me hotel. I'm considering a stay there in 6 weeks so I'd be grateful for an update to know if access is easy and noise is not too bad.
I just stayed at the Sea Me Spring for the last 2 weeks, and yes Soi 10 is open and clear of all debris. Good thing is it is a 2 way Soi for motobikes at least, I loved the ease of access to the hotel since I ride motobikes.

They had just started construction on the large lot at Soy 10 and Beach (seperated from Sea Me by a smaller lot on the same side of the soy).Any recent reviews of this hotel please? Can any one else verify that Soi 10 is again undergoing construction??
I suspect this is a large hotel going up (it has a high construction fence, and the lot is perfect for a really big hotel).
So that means pile drving might be starting soon.
I really liked the hotel when I stayed there a week ago.
