Hotels in Naklua

I am interested in accomodation options, and opinions in general regarding Naklua.
I am actually wanting accomodation well away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya, but close enough for a taxi ride in to town when the urge strikes me!
I am assuming at this point that there is some type of bar scene, and massage joints in Naklua, but on a way smaller scale than in the heart of town? Is that correct?
Also are there a choice of eating venues in and around Naklua.
I did the "Mapjack" look around, but not really knowing my way around Naklua made that a bit pointless.
Appreciate any replies and opinions.
Cheers

I can't comment on the accommodation options for Naklua, as I stay at a private house, but there are many hotels in that area and worth having a look at those down by Wongamat beach. Loads of bars and eateries and some massage parlours - pretty much all you need but on a smaller scale than Pattaya city centre.
You're only a baht bus ride from Beach road and Walking Street, but coming back you may need to take 2 baht buses as sometimes (though not always) when the bus gets to the Dolphin roundabout it turns back onto Beach Road. If it does, just hop off, cross the road and get on another bus - simples!
Hope that helps.

Have a look at the Windmill in Naklu. Its right on the main street. Another option might be to contact Xzone Nev who I believe owns a place up there.

Cheers Bullfrog for the offer, still in the planning stages yet so not exactly sure of when, more a case of researching the" if's" at the moment!

I was hoping that a Baht bus was possible from Naklua to WS etc - and you cleared that up for me,
